A distress debt purchase by BlackWall with NAB of a 14,500 sqm commercial building on the Sydney CBD fringe. At the time project had approximately 6,500 sqm of actual or imminent vacancy and negative cashflow.

 

The BlackWall team managed a leasing strategy/capex program and structured a joint venture arrangement to move the asset off the NAB balance sheet. The building is now fully leased, generated double digit value growth and is consolidated onto the balance sheet of a BlackWall managed LPT.
